The results of an investigation into the improvement of fecal odor and halitosis in healthy dogs on the administration of persimmon extract (Pansyl PS-M) have just been published in the January 2025 issue of Companion Animal Practice (CAP), a journal of veterinary medicine.

Although the intake doses had been based on human studies, they were officially confirmed to be safe in dogs.

Rental dogs were used in this study.

In addition to the suggested deodorizing effect, it has also been suggested that the product may contribute to the improvement of intestinal microflora and metabolism.
