Introduction of a new coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) inactivator
We are pleased to announce that we have succeeded in developing a deodorant, "PANCIL V-20", which features Diospyros Kaki Fruit Extract as its active ingredient.
Unlike the conventional PANCIL series, which has Persimmon tannin as its main ingredient, the Diospyros Kaki Fruit Extract is obtained by further extracting the residue left after squeezing the Persimmon tannin from the persimmon fruit.
In addition, when a 1% aqueous solution of PANCIL V-20 was brought into contact with a new coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) in liquid, it was confirmed that more than 99.99% (Log: 4.5) of the virus was inactivated in just 30 seconds.
This novelty was recognized and we were able to obtain a patent inJapan.
